Mr. Baisden, 

We are writing in response to the Request for Additional Information dated August 13, 2026.
 
Item 1 addresses a $200,000 independent expenditure (IE) memo and corresponding debt originally reported as disseminated on 6/19/26.  This item was initially entered into the FECFile software in preparation for a 24/48 Report, but the Committee changed its plans and did not run the IE.  The entry was then deleted from the 24/48 Report, but because of how FECFile functions, this did not delete it from Schedule E of the 3x.  The Committee was not aware of this software issue and inadvertently reported the memo and debt on the Q2 report.  An amendment has been filed to correct the public record.
 
Item 2 inquires about the failure to timely file 24-Hour Reports regarding “last minute” independent expenditures made by the Committee.  This was due to an oversight and miscommunication between administration and compliance personnel.  The items were reported as soon as the information was received by the compliance team.  The Committee has reviewed and updated their procedures to ensure timely filings moving forward.
