In response to the Federal Election Commission request for additional information related to the Gibbs for Congress April and July quarterly 2026 reports. All expenses paid by the Committee were for committee purposes and are appropriate within Section 527 of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 and the Federal Election Campaign Act of 1971. 

We do not intend at this time to terminate the committee, convert to a multicandidate political committee or redesignate the committee as a principal campaign committee. Gibbs for Congress has and will engage in activities consistent with Section 527 of the IRS Code of 1986 and the Federal Election Campaign Act of 1971 and any other activites that are proper and necessary to accomplish the foregoing activites.
