Dear Michael Williamson,

This is in response to your letter, dated August 9, 2026, concerning the July Quarterly Report of MD PAC (the “Committee”). The Committee has filed amended reports (April Quarterly and July Quarterly) to correct the two issues that were highlighted in the letter: 

First, the Committee has amended its reports to show that Ian Cook has not exceeded the $5,000 annual limit on contributions to MD PAC for 2026. To date, Mr. Cook has made two contributions to MD PAC—a $5,000 contribution in 2025, and a $5,000 contribution in 2026. Mr. Cook’s first $5,000 was made on 11/7/25 to Majority Fund, the Joint Fundraising Representative for a joint fundraising effort in which MD PAC is a participant and was allocated to MD PAC on 3/13/26. Due to an accounting error, the receipt date for the contribution was incorrectly reported as 1/1/26. The Committee’s April Quarterly report has been updated to reflect the correct date of receipt per 11 CFR § 102.17(c)(3)(iii).  Mr. Cook’s second contribution to MD PAC was made on 3/23/26. The aggregate year-to-date total from Mr. Cook on the July Quarterly Report has been corrected to $5,000 to show that only the 3/23/26 contribution counts against the 2026 limit. 

Second, the purpose descriptions for the disbursements to Home Game and WME Entertainment have been updated from “Non-Contribution Account: Production Services” to “Non-Contribution Account: Video Production and Digital Consulting” (Home Game) and “Non-Contribution Account: Meeting Entertainment” (WME Entertainment) on the July Quarterly report.
