On behalf of Jobs and Democracy PAC, we are submitting this response to the Request for Additional Information (RFAI) dated July 1, 2026, regarding the Committee's 12-Day Pre-Primary Report covering the reporting period of April 1, 2026 through June 3, 2026. We appreciate the opportunity to clarify the items identified.
Item 1 � Timely Filing of 48-Hour Reports
The Committee acknowledges the concern raised regarding the filing timeline of the referenced 48-Hour Reports. Since this filing, we have taken the opportunity to review and strengthen our internal reporting procedures. New processes have been implemented involving both Committee staff and vendors to ensure that all required information is communicated promptly and that future independent expenditure reports are filed within the required regulatory timeframes.
Item 2 � Independent Expenditure for Brooks, Bob
The amount referenced in the RFAI represents an in-kind contribution of production services for an independent expenditure received by the Committee and was reported as such through the Commission's FECFile software. The Committee notes that this amount does not appear on Schedule E due to the manner in which FECFile processes in-kind contributions.
Specifically, the associated 24-Hour Report properly disclosed the independent expenditure. However, when generating the quarterly report, FECFile automatically reports the transaction as a contribution on Line 11(c) and the corresponding expenditure on Line 21(b), rather than reflecting the amount on Schedule E. This is the automated reporting treatment applied by the FECFile software and is not the result of an omission by the Committee.
Item 3 � Bryson Gillette, LLC Schedule E Discrepancy
Regarding the referenced independent expenditure, the original vendor payment for a digital ad buy was fully refunded and therefore was not associated with a reportable independent expenditure. The Committee amended the applicable 24-Hour Report to reduce the reported amount to zero because FECFile did not allow the deletion of the entry. However, due to the manner in which the FECFile software processes amendments, the amended 24-Hour Report did not override the original amount reflected on Schedule E within the quarterly report, so the original amount appeared on Schedule E instead of Schedule B as a non-IE disbursement.
To properly account for the transaction, the Committee reported the corresponding reimbursement on Line 15 of the report. As a result, the reimbursement offsets the original amount, resulting in a net effect of zero while preserving a complete accounting trail of the transaction as reflected by the software.
