At this time, it is the intention to continue the Tulsi for Hawai�i committee as is and use residual campaign funds to support the following as stated in the Federal Election Commission Guide for Candidates and Committees: Other permissible uses of excess campaign funds include: Donations to charitable organizations defined in 26 U.S.C. 170(c), unless the candidate receives compensation from the organization before the organization has expended the entire amount donated for purposes unrelated to the candidates personal benefit. Unlimited transfers to any national, state, or local political party committee; Donations to state and local candidates, pursuant to state law; and Any other lawful purpose, unless such use is personal use.
